Three projects within Edinburgh and West Lothian are part of 12 groups within Scotland to receive funding.
£5.9 million is being made available through the Big Lottery Fund and its Investing in Communities scheme, to support the three projects which help to provide support for families, older people and young care leavers.
The three projects within the region that received funding are the Home-Start West Lothian, Trust Housing Association Ltd and charity The Dean and Cauvin Trust who provide services for vulnerable young people.
