Over 600 groups applied for funding from the Enterprise Growth Fund and the 60 charities and social enterprises that will receive grants have now been announced.
The successful 60 groups will receive funding between £25,000 and £200,000. One of the successful groups is a community football academy.
The Spartans Community Football Academy who work with 600 children and young people, received a grant of £150,000 which will allow them to increase the size of their building which will allow them to expand their services for young people.
